I liked this one, but it did drag a bit for me. So when I saw the title of this book my mind went to it immediately and McKenna quotes it before the book starts. It did not however, stopped at 50%, and just went on to become stupider and stupider until I went from tolerating it to unamused. The book is not reader-friendly. The author doesn't put a lot of emphasis on home life, which I actually really enjoyed from a military story, because it really made me feel like it was about their time at war, which it was. If Lucas and Noah started rimming each other after not showering for a week, I would throw a freaking hissy fit. Oral, anal, menage, spanking, whipping.
As impressive as what you've shown has been, I cannot just rally the North's forces over your word alone. One that is also filled with hot military men!! There was hickey's and protective instincts. The story follows Lieutenant Lucas as he takes up his new mission which includes learning to deal with having a second-in-command Noah who is a True-Alpha werewolf. He held a rope that was binding a rough looking man behind him. The characters: as usual, these fall prey to the trap of Nothing Unless There's You. It's about needs from werewolf culture, needs at full moon and changes in Lucas.
The Smex-ual tension was really amaaaazing! Surely, they could have managed to shower and fuck? He knew they'd probably die, but it would still buy him some time to get away. Look, it was hot as hell when they were getting down and dirty, but I wish was more communication. We are nev I had an uneven response to this. I think it's time for therapy. However, even the most stoic and brave people had a breaking point. And yet I was a bit enamored of him.
The surviving crew were rescued by luck when a Spanish ship called Julian harbored near their encampment on the island for repairs with hopes of finding the Enderby's settlement the ruins of which Dalgarmo's group had found , which they incorrectly believed to be an active fishing village. It's easy to panic, and panic is contagious. His only armor was a chestpiece and a few bits here and there. And this one snuck in under my radar! And as each one went on to touch other raindrops, it shared not only itself, but what it had gleaned from the other. That's a sec that took me out of the story. Or at least that was the plan.
Had this book been about 50 or so pages shorter I think I would have been okay. Everything about this novel was hugely compelling, fascinating and realistic — as much as a military werewolf romance can be. I gotta brush-up, ya know. If not, I hope the list helps. Noah at least had some sort of character - if you count Growly Alpha Male as personality and Jealous as a blood type.

There's just a lot of action and exciting situations! Now, don't get me wrong, I still liked it a lot, and it started out amazing, 5 stars for sure. I also don't have any grasp on what he looks like, what his background is, and who he is as a person.
